Find out who won the Bridport Business Awards 2023

More than 50 local business leaders attended the 2023 Bridport Business Awards ceremony at Highlands End Holiday Park, overlooking Bridport and West Bay.

The 12 awards were presented by Cllr Ian Bark, Mayor of Bridport.

The West Dorset Magazine was named Overall Business of the Year and also won the New Business category.

Robert Mühl, Chamber President  said: “We are thrilled to see the hard work and commitment of our wonderful local businesses being recognised.

“It’s vital that, in the next year, we all support each other because together we’re stronger.”

The Chamber sponsors the Retail Business category and this year’s winner is Smith & Smith, the long-established West Street business.

Nigel Reeve, of organisers Marketing West Events, said: “We continue to fly the flag for local businesses.

“The ethos behind the awards is that local businesses create employment, they innovate, they open new markets, and they boost the area’s economy.”

Headline sponsor for the awards is ActionCOACH.

This year’s Bridport Business Awards were the fourth to be held.
