We will be welcoming two speakers to our May networking event. Our first speaker will be from Dormen, Dorset Business Mentoring. Dormen is Dorset’s own bespoke business mentoring service. It is a confidential service provided by volunteers who are drawn from experienced members of the business community and the professions. Dormen recruits experienced business and professional people as volunteers to help small developing businesses by providing a mentoring service to them.
Our second speaker is Sarah Harbridge Programme Manager of the LEADER Local Action Group – an established rural funding and growth programme covering Dorset. Sarah will be talking about rural grant funding. The scheme’s key priorities include farming and forestry, rural services, tourism, culture and heritage, as well as support for small businesses in rural areas.
The event will be held at The CORE – The Centre of Renewable Energy at AP Chant’s offices in Bridport. A buffet lunch will be included.
